Couples Counseling

The purpose of couples counseling is to improve and strengthen a relationship. The couple, with the therapist as mediator and facilitator, identify patterns of behavior that have led to problems in a relationship. Homework assignments can be an important part of couples counseling. With the help of the therapist, couples attempt more positive behaviors and work on improving communication patterns.
